Jackson says that the office space he moved into was empty 'because everyone's working from home, so I just thought, why not move there?'“When I found my company had an empty office downtown, this was the perfect solution as it was close to all of the venues I frequent and it would be free” he told the New York Post.He justified his unorthodox living arrangements saying: "They do not pay me enough to do both, so as a matter of protest, I am just going to live at my job, and we'll see how long I can get away with this."As it happened, he didn’t get away with it for very long.Four days after he posted his stunt online, he received a call from the human resources department at his employer, Arcadis.Jackson claims that Arcadis ordered him to clear his belongings from his desk and to delete his social media videos or else be fired.In the face of this ultimatum, Jackson says that he chose to leave the company.Jackson has since described the stunt as a 'protest', aimed at drawing attention to the difficulty of affording an apartment in Seattle on his current salary.He remains optimistic about his future, however, and has since been staying at a Seattle Airbnb.He hopes to refocus on a new career, commenting: “I’ve gotten so many views now, so maybe I can take that and work on building my brand.”>

Popular internet showman, Hushpuppi has received fresh charges as US prosecutors submit court documents showing how he committed another fraud and laundered over $400k from behind bars.US prosecutors presented documents before the United States District Court of California on Wed 16th March 2022 with fresh evidence indicting HushPuppi of committing fraud and money laundering in U.S Federal correctional facility.The court documents stated that Hushpuppi, while in U.S Federal correctional facility, participated in the purchase and laundering of Economic Impact Payment debit cards fraudulently obtained from stolen data of U.S citizens and residents.Economic Impact Payments are financial support offered by the US government to U.S residents according to the CARES Act. One of the ways eligible US residents receive their Economic Impact Payments is by debit cards. From the documents presented in court, it was found that hackers use data of U.S residents to file and obtain Economic Impact Payments debit cards. They sell off these EIP cards in underground marketplaces to other cyber criminals.In the court document, US prosecutors mentioned that inmates are allowed access to phone calls, video calls, the internet, and computers with limited usage but they are not monitored because inmates have right to their privacy. Hushpuppi also received this access like other inmates.However, between 28th Jan and 4th Mar 2022, security officers at the US Federal correctional facility, observed more usage of the internet by Hushpuppi. Knowing that Hushpuppi was arrested for internet related crimes, they obtained a warrant to record Hushpuppi activities. A dedicated system was setup for him and his activities were recorded for 7 days.It was found that Hushpuppi was actively buying EIP debit cards from an underground cyber criminal marketplace called Stimulus Card. While being recorded, Hushpuppi bought a total of 58 EIP debit cards with a total value of $429,800 on the site and laundered the money through one AJ.>

The U.S. Navy has retrieved the F-35C stealth fighter jet that was lost during a landing accident aboard the aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) earlier this year.The aircraft, the newest and the most advanced in the US force, ended up at the bottom of the South China Sea, following a landing problem on the aircraft carrier.A major operation was launched to recover the $100m (£74m) F-35C Jet from a depth of around 12,400 feet below the South China Sea, a region that has been a source of rising US-China tensions in recent years.The U.S Navy says the wreck of the jet will now be taken to “a nearby military installation to aid in the ongoing investigation and evaluated for potential transport to the United States.”It became known after the crash that the world’s first female F-35 pilot was behind the cockpit of the US Navy’s fifth generation fighter.According to sources, the unsuccessful attempt was her first flight from the deck of an aircraft carrier.Despite the fact that the unnamed pilot had completed a full course of training and successfully completed the take-off and landing training program on the deck of an aircraft carrier, the source noted that the flight was her first from the deck of a real warship.>

More facts have emerged on how suspended super cop and former Commander of the Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari; as well as his deputy, ACP Sunday Ubua, allegedly received a combined N4.2bn in their separate bank accounts.The details are part of a report sent to the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, by the NDLEA.According to the drug enforcement agency, not less than N1.4bn passed through Kyari’s account while he was commander of the IRT.However, Kyari’s deputy, Ubua, may have received far more than him as not less than N2.8bn was traced to his eight bank accounts.According to investigations, Ubua allegedly received a lump sum of N2.664bn on August 15, 2019. The NDLEA is now working on the assumption that the sums traced to Kyari and his deputy may be connected to the sale of some illicit substances including Tramadol worth N3bn.A source said, “You will recall that the NDLEA is investigating an allegation that Kyari and his team seized a large consignment of tramadol in a warehouse at Amuwo Odofin in Lagos. The consignment was worth about N3bn.“The IRT under Kyari’s command seized these drugs and they are believed to have sold the consignment to a cartel afterwards. It was around the time of this seizure that Kyari’s deputy received a deposit of N2.664bn in his personal bank account. Out of this money, he purchased FBN Insurance shares worth about N100m.”Meanwhile, the NDLEA has written a letter to the AGF seeking his approval for the confiscation of properties and assets belonging to the once revered super cop.It was gathered that the NDLEA’s request was dispatched to the justice minister last week following the March 7 arraignment of Kyari and his men for dealing in cocaine.The saga involving Abba Kyari is becoming a big embarrassment to the Police leadership who investigated him and found nothing serious, only to recommend a reduction in rank.>
