Skin Tint, Foundation, or Contour Cream? Here’s the Difference
Knowing the difference between a skin tint, foundation, and contour cream can completely change how you approach your makeup routine. Each product plays a distinct role, and understanding when and how to use them helps you get the finish you actually want. A skin tint is all about light coverage and a natural, skin-like finish. It evens out tone without masking your complexion, letting freckles, texture, and glow shine through. Think of it as your skin, just slightly perfected. It is ideal for everyday wear, minimal makeup days, or when you want your face to look fresh rather than fully done. Foundation, on the other hand, steps things up. It offers more coverage and structure, helping to even out complexion, blur imperfections, and create a smooth base for the rest of your makeup. Whether light, medium, or full coverage, foundation is designed to unify the skin and make everything layered on top look more polished.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by BellaNaija Beauty (@bellanaijabeauty) Finally, a contour cream is not about coverage at all. Its job is to sculpt and define. Applied strategically to the hollows of the cheeks, jawline, nose, or forehead, it adds […] The post Skin Tint, Foundation, or Contour Cream? Why Oversized Fashion Will Always Be Chic
Sometimes, the chicest thing you can wear is something that lets you breathe. But oversized outfits have long been misunderstood as lazy, shapeless, or simply something to throw on when comfort is the only goal. But style girls know better. When done right, oversized silhouettes are intentional because volume becomes the statement and proportions do the talking. The key to nailing an oversized fit is balance and confidence. An oversized blazer paired with sharp accessories instantly reads chic, not careless. Wide-leg trousers feel elevated when styled with a fitted top, sleek hair, or statement shoes. Even the most relaxed pieces come alive with thoughtful details like colour coordination, texture play, or bold jewellery. If you have been thinking about looking into oversized fits, we have handpicked looks that prove that oversized outfits can command attention without screaming for it. They are stylish, modern, and effortlessly cool, reminding us that fashion does not always have to cling to the body to make an impact.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by BADDEST✨ (@tience_gallery)   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Theodo®️a (@dorawilfred)   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by […] The post Why Oversized Fashion Will Always Be Chic appeared first on BN Style.

Fashion as Power: Female-Led Nigerian Shows We Loved
Some of us fall in love with movies and TV shows because of the strength of the story, the quality of production, or the brilliance of the cast. But just as deeply, many of us are drawn to female-led cinema for fashion. Watching women on screen challenge the status quo, defy tired stereotypes, command a room with their presence, or move effortlessly through a scene has a powerful way of shaping how we see the world. As a young Nigerian fashion enthusiast, I watched through that lens. I grew up consuming series on YouTube, films on Netflix, productions filled with women whose coming-of-age and self-discovery journeys were compelling enough to make me dream bigger and feel seen. Beyond the storytelling, their wardrobes did something even more transformative: they showed me that personal style is a form of agency; that how I present myself can be just as intentional as the life I’m building. Gushing aside, here’s a list of female-led Nigerian movies and series that used fashion as a storytelling tool and left a lasting impression on us. (Who knows? This might be your cue to watch or re-watch them) Skinny Girl In Transit (7 Seasons) Beyond chronicling Tiwa’s relatable […] The post Fashion as Power: Female-Led Nigerian Shows We Loved appeared first on BN Style.
