Nairobi bachelors open up on opting for mama fua services over settling down - ‘Some do more than cleaning’ (VIDEO)
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - There’s a growing trend in urban Kenya, especially Nairobi, where bachelors are opting for mama fua services over settling down. But this isn’t your usual cleaning crew. A new wave of young, stylish, and attractive women are redefining the role, offering laundry and cleaning services with a fashionable twist. Unlike traditional mama fuas, these ladies come dressed to impress, turning house chores into a statement. On X (formerly Twitter), users joke about “premium cleaning packages,” suggesting some services may extend beyond scrubbing floors. Some men are admitting the lines can get blurry, disclosing that some mama fuas end up developing feelings - and get upset if they show up to clean and find another woman in the house. Several men have been narrating their experiences with this new breed of mama fuas and below are some of the videos. 😆😆😉pic.twitter.com/1Kc7YDJtcJ— Lupellah Johnson (@JogooRangi) June 13, 2025 😂adi wanapika breakfast buana pic.twitter.com/LBpI4CkMfZ— Lupellah Johnson (@JogooRangi) June 13, 2025 Kubali wenye hukasirika wakikupata na dem kejani pic.twitter.com/zJzHtqOMX4— Lupellah Johnson (@JogooRangi) June 13, 2025 Huko thika road wako na mambo 😂pic.twitter.com/WixU3RV0Ew— Lupellah Johnson (@JogooRangi) June 13, 2025 The Kenyan DAILY POST

LADY’s blunt dating advice to women aged 25 and above goes viral on X - “Leave the rest to God and chance but….” (LOOK)
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - A bold post by an X user is stirring conversation across social media after she offered blunt dating advice for women aged 25 and above. “Once you’re 25, don’t do the talking stage for more than two weeks,” she declared. Her checklist? Go on two or three dates, know where he lives, understand what he does, meet one of his close friends, and get a glimpse into his family background. Anything longer than that, she insists, is a waste of time. “Leave the rest to God and chance - but don’t linger.” “Move into a relationship quickly, and if it doesn’t work, move on,” she wrote. The post has divided opinion online. While some women praised the no-nonsense approach, calling it a smart way to avoid time wasters, others argued that such a pace might not work for everyone. The Kenyan DAILY POST

DCI boss MOHAMED AMIN’s history as an ICC witness over 2007/2008 election violence sparks reactions amid ALBERT OJWANG death case
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - The death of blogger and teacher, Albert Ojwang, in police custody has cast a harsh spotlight on the National Police Service, drawing public outrage and calls for accountability. Inspector General Kanja, Deputy IG Eliud Lagat - whose complaint led to Albert’s arrest - and DCI boss, Mohammed Amin, are all under scrutiny. Amin has defended DCI officers who arrested Ojwang in Homa Bay and transferred him to Nairobi Central Police Station, stating that the blogger was in good health upon booking. However, newly retrieved CCTV footage from Mbagathi Hospital suggests otherwise - Ojwang appears to have been brought in already dead, directly contradicting Amin’s claim. Now, online, speculation is swirling that Amin’s appointment as DCI boss by President Ruto, who was among the accused, was a reward for his role in the collapsed ICC case linked to the 2007–2008 post-election violence. At the time, Amin served as the Rift Valley Provincial Criminal Investigations Officer and later testified at The Hague in defense of former Police Commissioner Hussein Ali. He supported the narrative that the violence, which left over 1,000 dead, was spontaneous - not planned. See the reactions below. The Kenyan DAILY POST

Father’s Day post from Kenya police backfires as Kenyans mourn blogger, ALBERT OJWANG, who died in custody - ‘You are making children fatherless”
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - Early Sunday morning, the National Police Service (NPS) marked Father’s Day with a brief social media post celebrating fathers. But what was meant to be a feel-good message quickly spiraled into controversy. Kenyans took to the comment section not with warm wishes, but with anger and grief over the recent death of blogger and teacher, Albert Ojwang, in police custody at Central Police Station. Ojwang, a young father to an infant son and the only child of his now-heartbroken father, was tortured and strangled in police custody just days before the holiday. Within the hour, the post transformed into a solemn tribute to Albert, with Kenyans condemning what they called a miscarriage of justice. The incident laid bare the deep mistrust between civilians and police, captured starkly by one X user who remarked that even officers’ children now feel ashamed of their parents’ profession. This is how much Kenyans will pay for U.S citizenship in DONALD TRUMP’s new controversial plan
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - Kenyans seeking a shortcut to U.S citizenship may now have a controversial pathway, if they can afford it. U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled the “Trump Card,” a proposed citizenship program priced at a staggering $5 million (approx. KSh647 million). The announcement, made last Wednesday, has sparked global attention. Trump claimed that over 15,000 people had already signed up to join the waiting list within 24 hours of launching the site. “More than fifteen thousand have signed up and joined the Waiting List since we opened the site last night," Trump announced on Wednesday. He described the initiative as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to live in “the greatest country, with the largest economy in the world” while also “helping balance the budget and strengthen America.” "The opportunity to live in the Greatest Country, with the largest Economy in the World, is here. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” “The waiting list is now open." Trump's statement went on. Applicants are required to submit personal details, indicate whether they are applying as individuals or businesses, and choose their region - Africa included. However, immigration experts have raised concerns, noting that the Trump Card vastly exceeds the cost and requirements of traditional U.S. investment visas such as the EB-5, which starts at $800,000 and mandates job creation. This comes amid the ongoing crackdown on undocumented migrants across the U.S. According to stats, approximately 30,000 undocumented Kenyans live in the country and over 1,200 have removal orders pending. Trouble in State House!! Why President RUTO is furious with his communication team
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - President William Ruto is reportedly fuming over what he views as dismal performance by his official communication team, despite the significant budgetary allocation granted to the department. Sources within Kenya’s political circles say the Head of State is growing increasingly frustrated over the persistent wave of negative media coverage that continues to paint his administration in poor light. Insiders reveal that the President feels his communication team has failed to proactively manage public perception and counter critical narratives in the media. What appears to have irked Ruto even further is the belief that some senior members of the communication unit are more preoccupied with personal gain, allegedly busy acquiring land and engaging in private deals, rather than focusing on their mandate to protect and promote the Presidency’s image. The President is said to have recently summoned the team for a dressing-down, demanding accountability and visible results moving forward. The Kenyan DAILY POST

Sunday, June 15, 2025 - Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Anti-Narcotics detectives are preparing for arraignment, a 26-year-old drug peddler, Wendy Mbeke Muli, who attempted to smuggle cocaine by ingesting pellets, in a desperate move aimed at evading arrest. Mbeke, whose confidence was clearly larger than her carry-on luggage, was intercepted by hawk-eyed detectives on June 13th, 2025, at around 10:00 a.m., just minutes before boarding an outbound flight. Her uneasy demeanour during a routine screening set off alarm bells. Following this, she was subjected to a thorough search. Later that day, Mbeke requested to use the washrooms, where she excreted two pellets. The following day, June 14, while still under observation, she excreted six more pellets, bringing the total to eight pellets. The recovered pellets contained cocaine weighing approximately 626.65 grams. Mbeke is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, June 16, 2025.The Kenyan DAILY POST

GACHAGUA reveals that RUTO and his wife, RACHEL, have frequent domestic wrangles that affect her public appearances - Including missing RAILA’s AU bid launch (VIDEO)
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has claimed that President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto have been experiencing frequent domestic wrangles, which he says have affected her attendance at key public functions. Speaking during a church service on Sunday, Gachagua insinuated that Mama Rachel's absence from certain high-profile events, including Raila Odinga’s AU Commission Chairperson bid launch, was not due to other obligations or scheduling issues, but rather private disagreements between her and the President. Gachagua disclosed that he had personally noticed Rachel’s absence during Raila’s AU bid launch and became concerned. Upon inquiring, he claimed that President Ruto candidly told him there had been a “minor misunderstanding at home”, implying the First Lady stayed away due to a domestic dispute. In a further revelation, Gachagua claimed that during his tenure as Deputy President, President Ruto instructed him to only attend key state functions with his wife, Dorcas, if Mama Rachel was also present. “The President felt uneasy that I always attended functions with my wife Dorcas, especially when Mama Rachel was absent. He told me it made him look like he was not a family-oriented man,” Gachagua stated. Listen to the full clip below. Riggy G to Kasongo: Mimi sijawahi piga bibi kama wewe. KALONZO speaks on joining RUTO-RAILA broad-based Government after DP KINDIKI’s overtures
Sunday, June 15, 2025 - Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, has firmly denied claims that he is preparing to join President William Ruto’s Government. Kalonzo has termed the reports “dishonest” and “a poor attempt to divide the United Opposition.” The response follows remarks by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, who over the weekend suggested that he will engage Kalonzo in talks aimed at fostering cooperation. In a strongly worded statement, Kalonzo dismissed the overture and took a veiled swipe at Kindiki, whom he mockingly referred to as “Mr HalfTam,” Kalonzo also questioned Kindiki’s legitimacy after his rise to Deputy President following a fallout within Kenya Kwanza. “I cannot work with or meet people with Gen Z blood on their hands, including that of Albert Ojwang.” “Kenyans know the truth.” “I will always be on the side of the people,” Kalonzo said, referencing the recent controversial death of blogger Albert Ojwang in police custody. Kindiki, while touring the Ukambani region, praised Kalonzo’s leadership and legal background, expressing hope that they could collaborate on development matters. “I respect Kalonzo... I will look for him,” said Kindiki, who has held forums across Machakos, Kitui, and Makueni counties in recent days. The Kenyan DAILY POST
