Lagos-based Lois Regalia, a premier jewellery brand inspired by stories and African cultures, marked International Women’s Day with an inspiring jewellery-making workshop held at The Deck at The Library on March 10th, 2024. The event, which served as the brand’s inaugural jewellery workshop, brought together women from various backgrounds to celebrate women’s strength, creativity, and resilience worldwide. The workshop commenced with a vibrant gathering of ten (10) enthusiastic women eager to delve into the art of jewellery-making. Led by the esteemed Creative Director, Lade Lois, participants were introduced to an array of tools and materials essential for crafting exquisite jewellery pieces. From the intricacies of beadwork to wire wrapping techniques, each woman was guided through the process with expert precision. Throughout the workshop, participants immersed themselves in the creative process, fashioning an assortment of jewellery including necklaces, bracelets, and anklets.
